2008 WWA Wake Park World Championships at CWC

On behalf of Governor Lray Villafuerte of the Camarines Sur Province in the Philippines, here's an update on the Worlds.

The 2008 Wake Park World Championships will be held at CWC in the Philippines from July 2-6, 2008. The event will be run under the leadership of Governor Lray Villafuerte and the CamSur Watersports Complex and in cooperation with the World Wakeboard Association (WWA) and the (AWA) Asian Wakeboard Association. The event is open to ALL riders and will offer prize money, more divisions including 3 for wakeskate and an obstacles only division in addition to medals and trophies.

We will also host a winch/rail contest to be designed by master railbuilder Pat Panakos from the world famous Projects Camp in the US. This is projected to be one of the biggest international events to date where the best riders from all over the world will compete for world titles.
