Daily Schedule and Registration Late Fee Reminder for 2008 WWA Wake Park World Championships and CamSur Rider’s Cup!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 16, 2008
This highly anticipated event is just a few weeks away and located in the tropical paradise of Camarines Sur, Philippines, this is one contest you won’t want to miss. Following in its tradition of hosting world class events and entertaining guests with the best action sports, night life and parties around, the Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC) will not disappoint. The competition in CamSur will be heated as riders converge to do battle for World Series titles on both the cable and boat lakes.
The Registration Late Fee for the WWA Wake Park World Championships and the CamSur Rider’s Cup will take effect on June 25th, 2008. All registration forms received after that will be subject to a $50 late fee. To register, click the appropriate link below for the contest and division you want to enter and submit the form back to
eventorganizer@thewwa.com or fax to (407) 362-7766.
There has been a slight change in the list of events as the Winch Park contest has been cancelled. During the event there will be an unveiling of Sesitec and the Wake Park Project’s new winch park system located at CWC. This will be the world’s first true winch park and will be open for a limited number of riders to hit.
Registration Forms (Microsoft Word Documents):
The Entry Fee for all Wake Park Worlds divisions and the CamSur Rider's cup will be $100 each. There will be a separate $50 entry fee for the Winch Comp for those who are interested. All rider’s must be WWA members to compete.
Entry fee is inclusive of 7 meals and 20 free drinks, free riding on the cable, access to all parties/concerts/events and free transportation to and from the Naga Airport, CWC and hotels from 7/2-7/6. A minimum of 4 competitors is required to open a division or else it will be merged with the next closest division.
Competitors may compete in more than one discipline but an entry fee must be paid for each. For example: A rider can compete in one Wakeboard, one Wakeskate and the Obstacles only division if they choose but they cannot compete in 2 of the same disciplines such as Pro Men and Mens I or Pro Men and Jr. Men. Please contact
EventOrganizer@thewwa.com if you have any questions.
