Cash prizes will be awarded in the Pro Men, Wakeskate and Obstacles only divisions, as well as an end of the tour cash prize for the overall winners. More information will be forthcoming soon. 2007 WWA Wake Park Series Dates:

Stop # 2 KC Classic @ KC Watersports (Kansas) August 4-5
Stop # 3 WWA Cable Wake Nationals @ OWC (Orlando) September 7-9
Stop # 4 Ski Rixen (Deerfield Beach, Florida) October (date TBA)

The WWA has made a huge commitment to help grow the sport of Cable wake both in the US and internationally. Attached is the informational flyer from the recently held WSIA (Watersports Industry Association) Summit in Park City, Utah. The WWA sponsored a breakfast and delivered a presentation to the industry along with Matt Hickman of Wakeboarding Magazine and Blake Hess of the Texas Ski Ranch (TSR) who both spoke on the benefits of Cable for the wake market. The presentation was informational and served to educate the industry about Cable parks and their potential. All in all, it was very successful and has definitely served to generate interest in what was a relatively small and lesser known segment of wake sports in the US. The WWA website will shortly be undergoing some changes to include a new Cable specific section and logo. We hope that you will join us in supporting this positive move for the sport.

On the international side of things, we are gearing up for the biggest cash prize event in cable wakeboarding history. The Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC), along with the World Wakeboard Association (WWA) and provincial governor Luis Raymund Villafuerte invite you to attend the CWC OPEN. The event will be held Friday May 25th and Saturday May 26th, 2007 in conjunction with the annual Kaogma Festival, one of the largest cultural celebrations held in the beautiful province of Camarines Sur, Philippines. It will include a variety of parties, contests, parades and other action sports events. Sunday May 27th will be a reserve day and the event is open to all international riders. We will be sending out an event bulletin shortly with more information about this comp and how you can register and make your travel arrangements. Hope to see you all there! www.camsurwatersportscomplex.com
