Ten-80 Wake Park Series Stop #2 KC Classic

By WWA Press Release

The Second Stop of the 2007 WWA Wake Park Series Presented by Ten-80 will continue at KC Watersports in Hillsdale, Kansas on August 3rd and 4th for the second annual KC Classic. The contest will incorporate three new divisions and a new prize money breakdown since the last stop of the series at Cablestock in May.

The KC Classic will pay out prize money to the top eight riders in the Pro Men division, as opposed to the top five at Cablestock back in May. The new divisions for the KC Classic will include Amateur Wakeskate, as well as Intermediate and Novice wakeboard. These new divisions will get the younger and less experienced riders the chance to get used to the new WWA Wake Park format and comfortable with competing against other riders at their same caliber.

The entry fee for the amateur divisions will be $50 and include a one-day WWA membership. Entry fees for the WWA Wake Park Series will remain the same. The weekend’s events will also include a best trick contest that will be held on Friday night at the Monster Energy Drink Winch Park located on-site at KC Watersports. The winch contest will consist of a wakeboard and wakeskate division with winner-take-all prize money in a jam style format.
