This year the French Association of WakeSurf organizes a huge wakesurf contest, "King of the Lake 2007."

The King of the Lake 2007 will be the end of the season contest of wakesurf organized by the AFWS. As in 2006, it will be held over two days, the weekend of September 1-2 on the beach of Angon - Talloires on the Annecy Lake near Geneve Switzerland.

The event will be likely to attract a great number of visitors and spectators with more than 500 peoples on the 2006 edition because of his retransmission by the means of a giant screen on the beach and possibly of his web diffusion. As in 2006, all means will be implemented to make this competition a great festival around wakesurfing. The organization hopes for this new edition to receive more than one hundred riders in all categories and nationalities. Two boats will be placed at the disposal of the riders in order to make it possible each one to be expressed and show the extent of its talent to our judges.
