Twin Cities Pro Tour Stop - Day 2 of 2

By WSM Press Release

Twin Cities, MN - Phillip Soven grabbed his second Pro Tour title in three tries for 2007 as he dominated the field in Minnesota this past weekend. Soven beat out the only other 2007 Pro Tour stop winner, Rusty Malinoski, in the final head-to-head showdown.

In the Jr. Men's division, A.J. Racinelli is no longer surprising people with his domination of the ranks since this is his third win in a row. In a year where today's third place finisher, Jimmy LaRiche, was widely expected to lead the Jr. Men field, Racinelli has seemingly come out of nowhere to represent the west coast with consistency and amplitude.

Twin Cities is the third event of the 2007 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour. Following Twin Cities, the tour will proceed northward to Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada (July 7-8) and conclude in Portland, Oregon (July 21-22). The dash to be the world's top rider features a $10,000 bonus for the season winner.
